We would like to extend a very warm  welcome to Meadowbank Guest House. We are a  modern, non-smoking, Visit Scotland 3 star rated, Guest House on the Isle of Skye.

We are offering en-suite  accommodation  for 2 nights or more  selected from 4 double and 2 twin en-suite rooms. You will have shared use of two lounges, Conservatory lounge, Dining area and garden with beautiful sea-view and access to seashore. Arrival times are flexible with aContinental Breakfast supplies are provided on your arrival for self service during your stay.

Meadowbank lies in a quiet location, with private access down to the shore of Loch Portree and extensive views of Ben Tianavaig. There is private parking for cars and motorcycles.

It is just a short seven-minute walk from the picturesque harbour town of Portree, where there is a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, banks and the harbour where boat trips and fishing can be arranged. We are also only a short distance from the Isle of Skye Candle Visitor Centre with its shop, restaurant, small theatre and cinema.

We would recommend guests reserve pubs/restaurants for evening meals in advance. We can provide a list of places to eat in Portree and other parts of the island.

Portree is centrally located and is an ideal place to base yourself for all your holiday activities whilst on the Isle of Skye. From exploring castles and museums or walking and climbing in the famous Cuillin mountains and surrounding countryside, to enjoying a round of golf on one of the two courses on the island or simply enjoying “a wee dram” at  one of the 3 distilleries  Talisker, Torabhaig and Isle of Raasay  during your stay on Skye – nothing is too far away!
